On Wednesday, February 14, the presentation and subsequent lunch took place at the Hotel Innside Palma Bosque, promoted by Catai and Aviba and to publicize Kenya and Tanzania, forty travel agents were able to enjoy this presentation given by María José Martínez and which the Commercial Director of Catai, Pilar Nieto, wanted to attend, who together with the President of Aviba, thanked those present for their attendance.

On February 13, an in-person session took place at the AVIBA / CAEB premises that could also be followed online about the new functionalities that Amadeus NDC-X will provide on the IBERIA NDC content. Likewise, a detailed explanation of the requirements/forms to view the NDC -X product was provided and which are mandatory.

The Business Group of Balearic Travel Agencies (AVIBA) is a corporation of companies in the Balearic tourism sector. Specifically, we include all those travel agencies that believe in corporatism and that seek, through this union, to protect their general interests before all centers of decision and power.

Created in 1977, AVIBA has been caring for its members for more than four decades. The Balearic Travel Agencies Business Group (AVIBA) is a corporation of companies in the Balearic tourism sector. Specifically, we include all those travel agencies that believe in corporatism and that seek, through this union, to protect their general interests before all centers of decision and power.

VISIBILITY

AVIBA represents the associated travel agencies, in all tourism and representative sectors of the sector such as CAEB Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands – AETIB Tourism Strategy Agency of the Balearic Islands – Tourism Promotion – City Councils – Departments – UIB – SOIB … and at the national and international level as an associate of CEAV Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies. As associates of the CEOE / CEPYME through CEAV and CAEB we actively participate in meetings and working commissions at the national level on issues related to tourism; Secretary of State for Commerce and Tourism, Ministry of Development, AENA, IATA, BSP, FITUR, etc.

LEGISLATION

Maintain relationships with all types of public and private organizations and entities. A primary objective of AVIBA is to act as a sectoral interlocutor for the associated Travel Agencies. For this reason, it represents its members before all types of public and private organizations and entities, at the regional, national and international level. Promotes collective relationships with our suppliers. Pursue and report intrusive activities and bad practices, for your defense and that of consumers.

Provide its members with services that are useful to the majority of them. Promote and defend the business interests of its members. Protect the integrity of Travel Agencies, which is why it sets and recommends minimum standards, to which all its members and collaborating companies must submit to be considered suitable and supported by the Group. Stimulate the solidarity of its members and the ethical defense of their professional interests.
